Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is coaching?

Coaching is a thought-provoking, forward-looking process that helps you gain clarity, build confidence, and take aligned action. It’s not about fixing you; it’s about uncovering what’s already within.

What do we talk about in a coaching session?

You decide. This is your space and your time. Some sessions focus on a challenge you’re facing right now. Others explore long-standing patterns or decisions. I’ll help you slow down, get clear, and connect the dots but the agenda is always yours.

Who do you usually work with?

I work with curious people who are navigating questions about work, identity, purpose, or growth. Some are feeling stuck. Others are simply ready for more alignment. What they share is a willingness to reflect and a desire to show up more honestly in their lives.

Do I need to have a clear goal to start?

Not at all. Some clients come in with a clear focus, others just know something needs to shift. Either way, we’ll work together to uncover what matters most.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on your goals and pace. Most clients start with a 3– or 6-month commitment to build momentum. You can always extend or pause — we’ll shape it around your needs.

How is coaching different from therapy, mentoring and consulting?

Therapy focuses on healing the past and supporting mental health. Mentoring is about sharing advice based on personal experience. Consulting offers solutions to specific challenges. Coaching, on the other hand, is a space to explore what’s present, uncover what’s true for you and take self-directed steps forward.

What can I expect to gain from coaching?

You’ll likely walk away with more clarity, deeper self-trust, and the courage to make choices that feel true to you. Some clients gain insight into stuck patterns. Others make bold career moves or rethink their pace of life. My role isn’t to push you; it’s to meet you where you are and support your growth.

How do I know if I’m ready for coaching?

If you’re feeling stuck, curious, or at a crossroads, and you’re open to reflection and growth, coaching might be a good fit. You don’t need to be sure to begin. Start with the quiz, or simply reach out. Sometimes, one honest conversation brings the clarity you need.

What happens in a discovery call?

It’s a free 30-minute call to see if we’re a good fit. We’ll talk about where you are, what support you’re looking for, and how I work. No hard sell, just clarity.

Is coaching confidential?

Yes, everything we talk about stays between us. I follow the ICF Code of Ethics, which means I take confidentiality and trust seriously. You’ll never be judged or pressured here and everything you share will be treated with strict confidentiality.
